Dear Ms. Delamare

Hello! Professor Delamare, I would like to introduce myself to you in this letter. I am one of

your students and my name is Xin Fan Li. I am from Fuzhou, China. I am a junior and transfer

from Brooklyn College and my major is Computer Science. The reason why I chose this major is

because I like playing video games and I wish I can be a game programmer. So I can make a

game by myself and bring it to other people. I think this class is important because it develops

my writing skills for technical and this skill can help me to be successful in the future.

I set myself short goals and long goals for this class. First, I want to talk about my short goals.

As a student I think the first step to help me to get started is trying to make friends with the

classmates because team learning can effectively play the comparative advantages of individual

members to achieve mutual assistance within the team. At the same time, through team learning,

team wisdom can be integrated into personal concepts and I can learn other people’s work skills

and effective methods and accept other people’s inspiration and inspiration to make my skills

better. After this, I think it is necessary to develop good reading habits. The most obvious and

important benefit of reading is knowledge acquisition, and every book is full of new information.

The more knowledge you have, the stronger your ability to deal with challenges. And the more

you read, the more vocabulary you accumulate, while These can improve my ability. Now, I

want to show my long goal in this class. I hope I can learn how to write a satisfactory

composition with the correct format, word order and proper vocabulary this semester.

I feel that as new inventions are added to our lives, it will improve our quality of life and make

our daily life more convenient. But there are advantages and disadvantages, more engineering

inventions may cause more and more people to lose their jobs, so I think engineering inventions

are a double-edged sword.

At the end of this letter, I would like to say that it is a pleasure to meet you, Professor Delamare,

and I hope we can have an unforgettable semester!

Sincerely,

Xin Fan Li

Your Student
