Subject: Improve safety around schools at night

The purpose of this memorandum is to make recommendations for safety around the school at night. I

think the college should take some measures to protect our students from attending night classes, which

will better protect the safety of the students and improve the reputation of our campus in society.

Summary

Currently, our school has a very large number of students attending evening classes, and theyusually

leave school very late. I suggest that we ensure the security around our college by placing additional

patrols around the campus. I hope to discuss related topics with you when you have free time

Discussion

Through news reports in recent years, we can find that the rate of criminal activities against students has

begun to increase. And through the investigation of these crimes, we can find that criminal suspects often

commit crimes against lone students at night. The decrease in security make students afraid to attend

night classes because they are worried about their own safety. This belief can lead to a decline in the

reputation of the college and will not attract more students to attend our college. So I think the college

should set up more patrols around the campus and add surveillance cameras in some blind spots to

ensure the safety of the nearby area. I think these guards should patrol the streets and buildings of the

campus, and if there are blind spots where surveillance cameras cannot be installed due to technical

problems, the campus should add more manpower in these places.In order to consider the safety of the

guards, I think these guards should be formed into teams, and these teams should be composed of two

to three people. Because one person patrolling the vicinity is likely to be attacked by criminals,therefore,

forming teams can better ensure the safety of these guards. These teams should be composed of

professionals and wear professional equipment to deal with any situation that may occur. If crimes occur

frequently in schools, it will cause great trouble to students, and these crimes will bring problems to

school management, and even affect normal teaching and education. Therefore, schools should focus on

preventing safety accidents. Put safety first. When students’ basic safety needs are not met, they would

not enroll in evening courses. My suggestions can better reduce the occurrence of these things, and

improve the safety and reputation of our campus.
